YARD WASTE COLLECTION
Manchester Township will provide a Yard Waste Recycling Collection on:
4TH SATURDAY - OF EACH MONTH
- April 27, 2013
- May 25, 2013
- June 22, 2013
- July 27, 2013
- August 24, 2013
- September 28, 2013
- October 26, 2013
Items will need to be placed at curbside by 6:00 am. "Yard Waste" materials are defined as tree trimmings, shrubbery and any other organic landscape vegetation, excluding grass clippings. Once again, Penn Waste will be performing this service.

What do I do with Stumps larger than 12 inches in Diameter?
Modern Landfill in Windsor and Lower Windsor Townships and H&H in Spring Grove accept stumps larger than 12 inches in diameter. Call for more info:

for all residential and commercial properties who currently participate in curbside refuse and recycling services per Ordinance #2012-07

ACT 90 - effective April 25, 2011
Building Permits may be withheld if any monies are owed the township.
As of April 25, 2011 – Act 90 of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania permits townships to withhold the issuance of any type of permit – including building permits - to any property owner that is delinquent with any payment of taxes or sanitary sewer charges or who owes the township any money for fines or liens.
YOU MAY BE ASKED TO VERIFY THAT ALL TOWNSHIP OWED PAYMENTS OR ASSESSMENTS ARE CURRENT PRIOR TO THE ISSUANCE OF ANY PERMIT.
Please remember that penalties will be assessed if building is started without first having a permit issued.
